Patient Participation Group

Thorpewood Medical Group Patient Participation Group meets every six weeks. It provides an important link between TMG and its 13,000 patients.

Who is involved in the Patient Participation Group?

The group consists of patients registered at Thorpewood and Dussindale Surgeries, and non-medical staff from the Practice.

What is the purpose of the Patient Participation Group?

The purpose of the PPG is to ensure that the patient voice is represented. The activities of the group will, in the main, fall into the following two categories:

  • Looking after our patients by drawing attention to strengths and weaknesses in the provision of health care in the area.
  • Helping the Practice by providing patient feedback, to the medical and non-medical staff attached to the surgery, about the level/quality of services we offer.

If you would like to join the Patient Participation Group, please register your interest to join the PPG above.
