TMG (Thorpewood Medical Group) Patient Reference Group meets about three times a year. It provides an important link between TMG and its 14,000 patients.
Who is involved in the Patient Reference Group?
The group consists of patients registered at Thorpewood and Dussindale Surgeries, and non-medical staff from the Practice.
What is the purpose of the Patient Reference Group?
The purpose of the PRG is to ensure that the patient voice is represented. The activities of the group will, in the main, fall into the following two categories:
- Looking after our patients by drawing attention to strengths and weaknesses in the provision of health care in the area.
- Helping the Practice by providing patient feedback, to the medical and non-medical staff attached to the surgery, about the level/quality of services we offer.
Currently we have sufficient patient members on the group, but when a vacancy becomes available it will be advertised on our site.
