Patient Survey Results – October 2025

Thorpewood carried out a patient survey for two weeks at the beginning of October. The survey was largely the same as previous ones done in April and October 2024, so we have a direct comparison of scores regarding our service. The survey was carried out face to face with patients and was available online.

975 surveys were completed. Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate.

The below graph shows the average rating given by patients to each of the 6 key questions we asked in the survey:

From this, we can see pleasing progress is being made in many of the key areas. However, we acknowledge the drop off in satisfaction regarding the wait time for appointments. As a result of this information, we are currently developing a new appointment schedule, which we hope will alleviate some of the issues surrounding this. Further details on the new schedule will be available in the New Year.

We also included a new question in this survey regarding how patients feel the service has changed in the last 12-month period. The results of this can be seen below:

We are pleased to see that the majority of patients feel the surgery has remained stable or improved in the last 12 months.

The results across the survey show a welcome trend towards improvement, which shows that the hard work we have been putting in to improve the patient experience at Thorpewood is bearing fruit. We acknowledge we still have areas for improvement and will continue keep pushing in the right direction for the remainder of 2025 and into 2026.
