Talking to children about cancer – July 9th 2024 6.30 – 7.30PM

Join this online event to learn more about talking to children about cancer. Speaking at this event is Lisa Punt, Centre Head at Maggie’s Cambridge.

Children often know when something serious is affecting the family and people they are close to. It is important to give them the chance to talk openly about their fears and worries. Trying to protect children from difficult news, worry and distress is natural.

Lisa will talk about finding the right language, time, and place to talk to children about cancer. We will also hear from a member of the public about their experiences.
